Notes on the subfamily Ranatrinae (Hemiptera: Nepidae) from Vietnam, with two new species of Ranatra Fabricius, 1790

Two new species Ranatra nieserisp.n. and Ranatra bilobatasp.n. are described. 
Distribution records of Ranatra and Cercotmetusof the subfamily Ranatrinae (Hemiptera: Nepidae) in Vietnam are provided. 


Ranatra parmata Mayr, 1865 is recorded from Vietnam and China (Hainan island) for the first time. 
In addition, this paper provides the first record of Ranatra libera Zettel, 1999 from Thailand.

Tìm dấu vết của An Dương Vương trên đất Cổ Loa

  http://repository.vnu.edu.vn/handle/VNU_123/22815 An Dương Vương (chữ Hán: 安陽王 ), tên thật là Thục Phán (chữ Hán: 蜀泮 ), là một vị vua đã lập nên đất nước Âu Lạc và cũng là vị vua duy nhất cai trị nhà nước này. Âu Lạc là nhà nước thứ hai trong lịch sử Việt Nam sau nhà nước Văn Lang đầu tiên của các vua Hùng. Niên đại trị vì của An Dương Vương được các tài liệu ghi khác nhau. Sử cũ như Đại Việt sử ký toàn thư, Khâm định Việt sử thông giám cương mục cho rằng thời gian ông làm vua kéo dài 50 năm, từ 257 TCN đến 208 TCN. Các sử gia hiện đại căn cứ vào Sử ký Tư Mã Thiên là tài liệu gần thời đại nước Âu Lạc nhất, cho rằng An Dương Vương và nước Âu Lạc tồn tại từ khoảng 208 TCN đến 179 TCN, tức là gần 30 năm. Có giả thuyết cho rằng gia đình Thục Phán là hậu duệ của các vua Khai Minh nước Thục thời Chiến Quốc, chạy về phía Nam để tránh bạo loạn vào cuối thời Chiến Quốc và khi nhà Tần nổi lên. Pliocene-Quaternary evolution of the continental shelf of central Vietnam based on high resolution seismic data

http://repository.vnu.edu.vn/handle/VNU_123/32626 The continental shelf of central Vietnam is characterized by complex geological structures in a strike-slip setting and thus by unique morphology compared to other parts of the Vietnam shelf.  Studying the Pliocene-Quaternary sediments in this area allows the processes that control the stratigraphic evolution to be highlighted.  In this paper, we present new results derived from high resolution seismic data that reveal the geological evolution of the continental shelf of central Vietnam during the Pliocene-Quaternary.  Our results demonstrate that the continental shelf of central Vietnam is narrow relatively to other parts of the Vietnam shelf.  The evolution of the shelf during the Pliocene-Quaternary was controlled by the pre-Pliocene rifting process.  However, fault systems below the present shelf were not strongly active during the Pliocene-Quaternary period, except for several listric faults in th...
